He walked in with a simple food brand… walked out with a Shark’s cheque 💰
Shark Tank India is not about ideas, it’s about execution.
Zorko proved you don’t need fancy — you need numbers, clarity, and scale.

₹300 Crore Ask Shocked the Sharks!
When Gopal’s 56 stepped into Shark Tank India, the biggest headline wasn’t the product — it was the ask. The founder sought ₹300 Crore for 25% equity, implying a valuation of around ₹1,200 Crore — one of the largest asks in the show’s history.
Gopal’s 56 is an Indian ice cream and shake brand known for pure vegetarian, fiber-rich, Ayurvedic-inspired flavors like Ashwagandha, Tulsi, Curcumin and Brahmi — blending taste with health consciousness.
The Sharks were impressed by the product but taken aback by the valuation. With questions around expansion plans and growth strategy, no deal was finalized on the show.
Did ambition turn into opportunity — or overvaluation?

Shark tank india :Let’s Try Startup From ₹2 Crore Sales To ₹300 Crore After Shark Tank
Let’s Try, a healthy snacks startup founded by Vinod Kalra, became one of Shark Tank India’s biggest success stories. The brand sells healthier snacks like aloo bhujia, mix peanuts, garlic bhujia, and onion bhujia. Before appearing on Shark Tank India, the company was doing around ₹2 crore in sales. After the show, its sales jumped to about ₹300 crore and the company valuation reached nearly ₹1,100 crore. Sharks Aman Gupta and Anupam Mittal invested in the startup, where Aman Gupta’s ₹12 lakh investment reportedly grew to around ₹40 crore, making Let’s Try one of the most successful Shark Tank India startups.
🦈 Banks Refused Him a Loan.
Before building SVS Foods, the founder struggled to even get financial support. When he approached banks to expand his idea of a 100% pure vegetarian QSR, they rejected his loan applications, doubting whether the business could scale.
Instead of giving up, he started small and focused on building a brand around a simple problem he personally faced — the lack of trustworthy pure-veg fast-food chains.
SVS Foods was created to fill that gap, offering completely vegetarian quick-service meals where customers don’t have to worry about non-veg kitchens or cross-contamination. The brand focuses on delivering fast, affordable food while maintaining strict vegetarian standards.
Over time, the founder managed to grow the business despite the early financial hurdles, turning an idea that banks once rejected into a functioning QSR brand.
Sometimes the biggest businesses start with a “no” from the banks.

This Maggie experiment-based brand got no deal on Shark Tank India — but did it fail, or quietly survive as a real business?
After the episode aired, the brand saw a strong surge in visibility, customer footfall, and local demand. Their Mumbai outlets started getting heavy crowd, proving the real impact of Shark Tank exposure, consumer curiosity, and instant brand awareness.
Talking about numbers, in FY24 the company reported around ₹1.41 crore turnover, which means roughly ₹11–12 lakh monthly revenue. A stable business — but not hyper growth.
The real story is about scale vs sustainability.
Even after years, the brand remains limited to selected Mumbai locations, operating as a local food startup rather than becoming a national quick service restaurant chain. While it is reportedly profitable, it hasn’t achieved large-scale expansion or strong distribution growth.
Shark Tank India reality, Maggie startup story, food business India, startup growth vs scale, local brand vs national brand, restaurant business model, customer demand, brand visibility impact, startup profitability, business scaling challenges, Indian startup ecosystem, entrepreneurship journey, real startup outcomes, post-show reality.
So what do you think — viral product idea enough hota hai ya scale karne ke liye strong business model bhi chahiye? Comment your thoughts.

In this high-impact pitch on Shark Tank India, Dil Foods introduces a scalable and asset-light model to transform the food industry.
Founded by Arpita, the startup partners with underutilized restaurants and helps them run virtual food brands. This allows kitchens to increase revenue without additional capital expenditure, making the model highly efficient and scalable.
Dil Foods also uses innovative freeze-drying technology to convert food into powder form, ensuring consistency, hygiene, and longer shelf life while maintaining authentic regional taste.
The company has shown strong traction, generating ₹7 crore in its first year and ₹13.16 crore in just seven months, with a target of reaching ₹30 crore annual revenue. With solid unit economics and a clear growth vision, the pitch quickly grabbed the sharks’ attention.
Despite previous funding at a lower valuation, the sharks were impressed enough to come together for a Deal, offering ₹2 crore for 2% equity.
This clip highlights how smart business models, strong execution, and clear scalability can turn a simple idea into a high-growth startup.
