A new full-service project is officially underway, and we’re starting with the primary bath. This home will be transformed across several spaces, with every room considered as part of one cohesive vision. From rethinking layouts and selecting materials to refining the smallest details, we’ll be there through every phase of the design process. We’re working closely with our trusted contractors and partners to ensure the creative vision translates seamlessly from plans on paper to a beautifully finished home. Decorating and interior design are not the same thing — and the difference matters more than most people realize. Decorating is the layer on top. the furniture, the pillows, the art on the wall. It makes a space look finished. Interior design starts before any of that. It's the flow of the floor plan, the placement of windows, the way light moves through a room at different times of day. It's the decisions that can't be undone once construction starts. One is aesthetic. The other is architectural. At M2, we do the second one — which is why what you see in our projects looks the way it does. We’re happily in full-throttle mode at N & M. So much has to happen before construction even begins. Concepts, layouts, designs, contractor bids, cabinet plans, product selections and ordering. The in-between execution phase may be the longest, but it always a win when we reach that milestone in our projects 🛠️
