💛As a longtime fan of the 3x Hoodie Award-Nominated Chicken Box Restaurant, I had to see things for myself!
After talking directly with the owners, I learned the truth — this recent social media attack came from a disgruntled former employee, and those so-called
“dirty” pictures? FAKE. PERIOD.
The photos are NOT from their restaurant.
The floors in the viral video don’t even match their building.
And YES — they proudly display a High Health Score right inside!
Owner Jerry Strong told me:
“The Legendary Chicken Box has proudly served this community for over 30 years. We take your trust to heart. We’ve had a full health inspection and passed with flying colors — and everyone is welcome to come see for themselves.”
He also thanked the QC for continuing to support a historic Black-owned, woman-led legacy business that has fed this city with love for decades.’
So now, let’s spread the truth — and some good news for a change!
