School pupils are still being denied basic toilet rights in UK schools, a new survey has found.
The survey, by @eric_charity The Children's Bowel and Bladder Charity, found that some teachers are refusing toilet breaks during lessons – even when children are in pain or distressed.
The survey found:
• Nearly half aren't allowed to go during lessons
• More than a third deliberately avoid drinking water just to reduce bathroom trips
• Over half say school toilets are dirty
• A similar number report broken locks, missing soap, or no toilet roll
• Nearly a quarter feel scared to use them

🤨 A pattern I see far too often in matrimonial litigation.
➡️ One parent disappears for months.
No calls. No visits. No involvement in the child’s life.❌
Birthdays pass. School events pass. Illness, homework, emotions, all handled by the other parent alone ✔️
And then suddenly… a petition appears in court seeking sole custody 🫨
On paper, it may look like a concerned parent fighting for their child.
But the courtroom has a way of slowly revealing the truth.✔️
👍🏻 The good part is family courts in India are not interested in dramatic allegations or emotional manipulation. The only question that matters is the welfare of the child.
✅ Judges look at:
• Who has actually been present in the child’s daily life
• Who attends school meetings and doctor visits
• Who provides emotional stability
• Who ensures routine, care and safety
➡️ A parent who has been consistently absent cannot simply rewrite history through a legal petition.
Courts observe patterns. They examine conduct. They look at actions over claims.
If you are the parent who has been silently holding everything together, the sleepless nights, the school runs, the emotional reassurance, know this:

Keep records.
Document involvement.
Stay calm during proceedings.
