Chocoflan // recipe 📩
chocolate cake: (you can use boxed mix)
-1 cup all purpose flour
-6 tbsp cocoa powder
-1 tsp baking soda
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-salt
-1/4 cup olive oil
-1 egg
-1/2 tsp vanilla
-6 tbsp buttermilk (or milk + lemon juice)
-1/4 cup yogurt or sour cream
-1/2 cup + 2 tbsp maple syrup
-1/4 cup honey
-1/2 cup hot water
Flan:
-5 eggs
-1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
-1 can of evaporated milk
1 can condensed milk (adjust to sweetness level)
Caramel sauce:
-1 cup sugar
Directions:
1. Caramel sauce:In a pan over medium heat, continuously stir 1 cup of sugar until it melts. The caramel is ready when it turns light brown and all sugar granules are dissolved. Grease a Bundt pan with baking spray and carefully pour the caramel sauce evenly into the pan.
2. Preheat oven:Preheat the oven to 350°F.
3. Flan:In a blender, blend the eggs, vanilla, evaporated milk, and condensed milk. Do not overblend to avoid creating air bubbles.
4. Bake flan:Once the caramel has cooled, pour the flan mixture into the Bundt pan. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and place the pan in a larger pan filled with hot water. Bake for 35 minutes.
5. Chocolate cake:While the flan is baking, prepare the chocolate cake. Mix all the wet ingredients, then fold in the dry ingredients. Once combined, whisk in the hot water.
6. Add cake layer:After the flan has baked halfway, carefully remove it from the oven and pour the chocolate cake batter over the flan. Leave uncovered and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
7. Cool and serve:Let cool for 1 hour, or until the pan is no longer hot. Carefully flip, slice, and enjoy!

Chocoflan recipe, so creamy & moist perfect for any occasion especially with the holidays approaching @jocelyne_infante06 #dessert #chocoflan #flan #chocolatecake #sandiegoinfluencer #easyrecipe #explorerpage
Making chocolate cake flan is 90% stress, 10% blind faith, and 100% worth it. One wrong move and it’s chaos… but if you survive the caramel and trust the flip? You get the most decadent, creamy, rich dessert that tastes like you did something impressive 😌🍮🍫 #chocolateflan #igreelschallenge
The biggest trick when making chocoflan is getting the cake portion not to be dry. After many times making this recipe in different ways, I finally found a way that keeps the cake moist.
I’ve seen people bake the flan portion first, which I don’t like because then you don’t get the cool batter flipping effect that happens in the oven. Plus, it involves removing the pan from the oven, then adding the batter on top, etc. I’m all for simplicity.
I used to bake this in a water bath, and that was another mistake. The water bath cooks slowly and dries the cake. So I have the perfect solution. With my proportions and my baking method, your chocoflan will always be moist, delicious, and drippy with caramel sauce.
Comment “recipe” and I’ll send it to you.

The cake that flips itself 😍🍫🍮
Tried the viral Upside Down Chocoflan from TikTok and it’s honestly 100% worth the hype.
Rich chocolate cake + silky caramel flan = pure magic.
The best part?
You pour the cake batter on top of the flan, and while baking it switches layers on its own 🤯
Yes it takes time… but one bite and you’ll understand why everyone is obsessed.
Save this recipe & try it this weekend ✨

The viral chocoflan! Absolutely delicious 💯💯💯
PART 2! THE CHOCOFLAN! (Impossible cake!) Recipe by @hrnaeatz
It’s called the impossible cake because the cake and flan flip over and separate creating these two perfect layers! We think ours was NEAR perfect. Was probably a little over cooked but other than that it was SO YUM. Highly recommend!!
