I grew up in the church… From the time I was born until… My entire life… In the choir, praise team, Usher, and a bunch of different ministries. It is the foundation of my beliefs and how my heart operates. How I serve, pray and aim to be more Christlike in my daily living. A few life moments in the last 2 years have really challenged upon my heart to lean back into what I know and deeply believe in. Especially when I consider that, even in my despair and anxiety, God has never abandoned me. As I enter a big year, I am prayerful that he continue to hold my heart and extend Grace as I earnestly try to represent Him in all that I do while letting go of resentment and the vision I had for my life. 🙏🏽Romans 12:2: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” 💛Meaning: Resentment often comes from worldly thinking. By realigning your thoughts with Christ, you are transformed from the inside out. 💛🙏🏽 Drop an “amen!” below if you are letting go and resetting your heart and mind to fully enjoy God’s perfect plan! #LiveinLove #GodsGirl #Romans12

Jesus didn’t avoid the broken—He fed, healed, and embraced them. That’s our model for Christianity. Don’t be fooled into thinking someone is Christlike when their actions contradict His heart. To be Christlike is to reflect His compassion, His justice, and His truth. Comment AMEN if you agree.
