I’ve been rocking with Big since he dropped “Party and Bullsh*t” on the Who’s the Man? soundtrack and loved all his features and singles leading up to Ready to Die. So when the album finally dropped, I grabbed it the first week on cassette. I was blown away when I first heard the album — every track was a banger 🔥 The Source gave it 4.5 mics, but for me it was an instant classic. It’s an album that I still listen to regularly. To be honest, I’ve always thought Ready to Die was a better album than Life After Death. Don’t get me wrong, Life After is an amazing album but it had a number of filler tracks. I know double CDs were the thing at the time but if he would’ve just taken the best tracks and made it just one CD, I think it would’ve been a better album than Ready… #notoriousbig #biggiesmalls #christopherwallace
