Were you a church kid? Are you raising a church kid? I’ve seen this meme a bunch of times “I hear it takes a village to raise your kids. Is there a number for this village? Who do I call for the village?” The church is the village!!!!!! You don’t need the number. You need to show up, stay consistent, and love it yourself and boom - you get a village! I’m not saying it’s easy. It definitely takes discipline. But goodness I think it’s worth it to raise kids that love God’s House. What else would you add to the list? Especially older parents that have kids that love church. 1. Make it a comfortable space for them. Treat it like a second home. 2. Setup up play dates with their church friends during the week 3. Say “we love church” and “we are going to God’s House” regularly 4. Be a worshipping household 5. Love it yourself! More than anything, they know what you love and will love it too. Bonus: stay consistent ✨ PS - notice the class sticker on Mohau’s back.
