🤫 The secret's out! My dream is coming true: I’ve been offered a place in film school with @collarts! 🎥✨ This has been a secret dream of mine for so long - to create and tell stories in the most artistic way possible. Not only through marketing. Not only through music either, but through the power of storytelling. As an artist (yes, I’m embracing the title!), I’m determined to represent the people (any age, heritage, or experiences) who have dreams but never had the courage to pursue them. Until now. I want to support and help represent the people who have 'whispers' in the back of their minds to do something they've always wanted to do but currently do not... Yet. I want to be a voice for the AAPI community and support the 'A' in STEAM, not just STEM in schools. 🤳🏽Don’t worry, I’m still committed to Ditox & marketing. In fact - all three are interconnected. More on that later. I’m now simply upskilling towards a secret dream. Now, I'm taking action. 🎬 I am really looking forward to immersing myself in the arts community with @collarts, learning as much as I can and meeting all the talented people I used to dream of meeting and working with. To the people who have supported me through all my breakthroughs, mini-epiphanies and life transitions, thank you so much. Here’s to upskilling. New chapters. New doors opening. Opportunities like never before. And pursuing our dreams so they don't follow us to our graves, but leave behind a legacy for the next generations to come. To celebrate International Women's Day and in recognition of the HUGE impact women have made, and will continue to make, in the Australian Music Scene, Sunday 9th March, ROAR Fest Street Shows are activating Acland Precinct!!!! 🎸Join us for live music from female artists, playing along the all over Acland Village THIS Sunday between 2 - 8pm. This is our “get to know our team” moment, because you may not be aware yet of the extraordinary team we actually have… and we want you to know them all!   Meet lovely Kaila!   Kaila is our client services and administrative support queen, ensuring that the studio runs smoothly at all times – 24/7! No, only kidding – we want her to have a life!   However in saying that, she is the glue that holds the team together, the solution to all of Rachel’s problems and is fast becoming the queen of moodboards and schedules as well. With a passion for client experience, Kaila is always keen to go the extra mile and has a strong eye for detail.   In fact, her love for interiors is so great that she is currently undertaking a Diploma of Interior Design at Collarts, with a view to becoming an Interior Designer, so this really is the perfect environment for her to learn and grow along the way, right?!   When Kaila does have some down time, she enjoys going to gigs, finding new places to eat and buying all of the things for a new hobby and then never getting around to it!!!

EAT WITH YOUR EYES 〰️ I spent the weekend checking out a special exhibtion running at #comohouse @nationaltrustvic Como House of Discovery: Eat with your Eyes – Aesthetic Dining and the Art of the Table. Exhibition is on until 4th August A collection of designers and artists were involved in creating table scapes and installations in the historic Como House in South Yarra. The brief was to reinterpret an object or story of a National Trust property into a cool art installation. This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in my journey, and I couldn’t be more excited to dive deeper into the business side of fashion.
