Out of all the birthdays, holidays, and milestones I missed — that one still hits the hardest. Because you only get so many “firsts” in this life… and once they’re gone, they’re gone. That was the moment I decided I’d never again prioritize anyone or anything that wouldn’t cry at my funeral. Call it guilt, call it clarity — either way, it changed me. Listen: Chasing money is easy.
