Usually it gets triggered when a woman expresses her upset with something or asks for an improvement in any area of their life together, for instance: deeper connection, more presence, ect. Defensive behaviour is a coping mechanism in order to not feel like a failure which invalidates a woman’s feelings, her heart’s truth, and creates pain for both. The moment a man can listen and hold space for the feminine without reacting out of conditioning everything starts to change.
