The Council, joined by County Executive Marc Elrich, presented a proclamation recognizing March 2026 as Consumer Protection Month in Montgomery County. The proclamation highlights the importance of fair and transparent business practices and the role of consumer protection laws in safeguarding residents from fraud, scams and deceptive practices. It also recognizes the work of the Office of Consumer Protection in educating residents, investigating complaints and promoting ethical business practices across the County.
