Before the impact, there is silence.
Before the jump, there is doubt.
At the limit, there is no hesitation

Today @elliott_sendy talks cross-training, skating, and downtime with his family as some of the most important parts of preparing for an event like the @Paralympics.
With events all over the world when the season is on, getting some “Noah time” during the off-season is what keeps him motivated and fresh to continue competing at the highest level.
Wanna hear more? Next up, Noah gives a breakdown of the different snowboarding events you’ll see at the Winter Games.
Today marks the Opening Ceremonies for the #winterolympics! The Olympic Spirit is one that should prioritize inclusion over exclusion, one that believes in calling people in and not out, and one that values the diversity of all identities.
The Olympic Village. You guys asked what happens when we aren’t competing. The answer? We mostly just watch the Olympics.
We had closed-circuit TVs everywhere back in the day. It was surreal—one night you’re sitting on the couch next to a luger or a downhill skier, just hanging out. The next day, you’re glued to the screen watching that same person compete.
It’s a unique camaraderie knowing you’re watching them today, and they’ll be watching you tomorrow.
Paralympic Games

Greatness doesn't start in the spotlight.
It begins in communities across Canada – in the places where coaches first see potential, where teammates become family, and where someone believes before anyone else does.

🎿🇺🇸 @lindseyvonn skiing on a ruptured ACL.
At the elite level, decisions like this aren’t made lightly. Athletes of that calibre operate with full medical teams, performance staff, and risk assessments behind them.
If she’s been cleared to race, she’s going to race.
That’s elite sport. That’s mentality.
But it also highlights something important — the responsibility doesn’t sit solely with the athlete. The onus is on the medical team and backroom staff to weigh risk versus reward and make informed decisions.
ACL rupture doesn’t automatically mean someone can’t perform — but it does change stability demands and risk profile.
Where do we draw the line between competitive mentality and long-term risk management?
👇 Interested to hear your thoughts.

Paralympians compete in the same winter. On the same mountains. And the same courses as our Olympic counterparts.
The Paralympics start March 6.
