Gel cast is key, if you want your curls to last ⁣ ⁣ If I don’t get a gel cast it’s usually because: ⁣ 💧The leave in conditioner or curl cream was too heavy ⁣for my hair 💧I used too much water when styling & watered down the gel ⁣ 💧Product build up ⁣ 💧The gel simply has no hold/is too light for my hair

Reason 3: you’re breaking up your curls too early. Make the curly family while styling, and separate them once it’s DRY! this leaves them in a uniform ringlet. Reason 2: once you apply product, you have to brush it through more than once. Once you see white streaks, you’re doing it right 😶‍🌫️ Reason 1: you’re applying product on damp hair. Girl your hair needs to be WET. And I mean basically dripping wet 💧💧💧 it’s the biggest mistake I see when people do their curly hair routines! Also, wear a shirt you don’t care about getting soaked.
