When I first started painting mtg cards I struggled with getting the right consistency with my paints, they were too thick and the cards would end up thick and bumpy. I started using @akinteractive.official paints and also thinning out acrylics I already had with a pouring medium which made such a huge difference. It takes a lot more patience when working on a lot more layers but so worth it for the result. This is pre-varnish but shows how flat everything sits on true card now. #mtg #mtgart #mtgalters #mtgalter #magicthegathering
