I just sat in a room with the pioneers of nursing informatics. Here’s the intel. ANIA 2026 is in Boston this year. I showed up. Dr. Kathleen McCormick — the woman who literally wrote the textbook on nursing informatics, 8th edition dropping this year from McGraw Hill — delivered the keynote on AI transforming nursing practice and policy. And she said something every AI builder needs to tattoo on their brain. Change management is the real challenge. Not the algorithm. Not the data. The humans. We keep deploying AI like it’s a technology problem. It is not. It is a people problem. And until we architect for the human first — the resistance, the fear, the trust gap, the workflow disruption — we will keep wondering why our implementations fail at scale. She also said this. AI cannot hold a patient’s hand. The clinician who does is irreplaceable. But only if that clinician understands the system well enough to lead it. That is not just a nursing problem. That is every industry deploying AI right now. The technology is ready. The humans are not. Your job — whether you are building, implementing, or governing AI — is to close that gap. That is the work. Are you doing it? Drop where you are in your AI implementation journey below 👇🏾 Human First. AI Second. Always #ania2026#rn2itacademy#nursinginformatics#womenintech#ai

Discharge planning just got smarter. @nyulangone researchers developed a two-step AI model that summarizes admission notes into a concise risk snapshot—and predicts skilled nursing facility need with 88% accuracy. The AI-generated summaries were 94% shorter than the original notes, and nurse case managers’ independent assessments strongly aligned with the model’s risk scores. A high-risk score made it 13.5x more likely that a nurse would flag a patient for SNF placement. Published in npj Health Systems. 🔗 Link in bio.
Supporting nurses is one of the most impactful investments a healthcare system can make 💙👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ When we prioritize the people on the frontlines through better workflows, smarter tools, and thoughtful leadership, we create environments where both clinicians and patients thrive 🌱🏥✨ KATE AI is designed to support nurses in real time, helping improve decision making, reduce variability, and strengthen patient safety ⚡📊🛡️ #NursingInnovation #HealthcareAI #PatientSafety #HealthTech #NurseLife #FutureOfHealthcare

Meet Amy - Chief nursing office with Hippocratic AI Amy shared - -How she switched from traditional nursing to working in health tech. -Tips for nurses interested in changing careers. -And how to learn about AI. It was a great experience meeting Amy while at @theviveevent at the @nurse.approved cocktail hour! What more do you want to know about working in health tech and AI as a nurse? I’m headed to @himssgc next week where I’ll be chatting up even more nurses about their non-bedside paths. #theviveevent #nursefern #remotenursingjobs
AI in healthcare sounds exciting… but also a little scary, right? In this clip, Dr. Patricia Delgado talks about how AI charting is changing the way clinicians work and why understanding certifications like AANP and ANCC is still so important. Technology is moving fast, but your education, scope of practice, and continuing education still matter more than ever. Here’s what you’ll take away from this reel: • Why AI charting can actually make your life easier as a nurse or NP • What AANP and ANCC really mean and why they matter for your career • How continuing education helps you stay confident as healthcare continues to evolve If you’re a nurse, NP student, or new NP trying to keep up with everything changing in healthcare, you need to watch the full episode on YouTube. 🎧 Listen Now: Youtube: https://www.rfr.bz/if88340 Podcast Apps: https://www.rfr.bz/i776a58 Check out our Nursing Education Playlist! https://www.rfr.bz/i6382e2 @lisha_renee_ @geri_20 @patricia.dcnp

Rather than being scared of AI in nursing, I think we need to be having more conversations about it..what it should be, what it shouldn't be, and what WE want to see as a profession What new technology has been introduced or piloted in your role or at the bedside? Let me know what you're seeing IRL! Follow to keep having conversations about the future of nursing 🔮 Source: ViVE Conference 2026 . . . #nurse #nursesofinstagram #remotenurse #futuretech #aitech
The future of Nursing is already being decided. Here are the specialties that will allow you to play an active role in guiding the future #Nursing #nursinginformatics #nurse #nursingjobs #nurselife
There is no longer remote nursing without AI - so let’s talk about it. I have several interviews from AONL to share where nurses talk about how their company is using AI. We also have a CE in May that’s a foundation to AI for nurses - taught by an informatics nurse. This isn’t going away and unless we adapt and learn, we’ll be left behind in the discussion. What questions come up? Here’s a few frequent ones I’m seeing- 1. How is AI actually being used in nursing workflows? 2. What do nurses do with AI? 3. Will AI and automation replace some of the most popular remote nursing jobs? #nursefern #nursinginformatics #remotenurse
For me, it wasn’t just about finding a job. It was finally feeling like I was on the right career path, and being able to help others while also thriving. Nursing Informatics was the right choice for me. 💖 #nursinginformatics #informaticsnurse #nursingcareer #healthtech #healthcaretechnology
