The data center rack is where all the computing happens. A rack is a standardized enclosure that houses servers, switches, storage devices, and power distribution units (PDUs). Modern AI and hyperscale data centers can have rack power densities ranging from 5 kW to over 100 kW, making efficient cooling and cable management more important than ever. In this video, you’ll learn: ✅ What a data center rack is ✅ Standard 19-inch rack and rack units (U) ✅ Components inside a server rack ✅ Hot aisle & cold aisle arrangement ✅ High-density AI racks and their cooling requirements Follow for more real-world data center engineering, HVAC, and mission-critical infrastructure content. #datacenter #datacenters #serverrack #rack #server GPU CPU PDU AI AIinfrastructure hyperscale cloudcomputing datacentercooling engineering mechanicalengineering thermalmanagement digitalinfrastructure missioncritical technology tech networking serverroom buildingservices facilitymanagement usa

144 fibers. Only 12 colors. 🌈 The TIA-598 code every fiber tech should know, plus the trick to find any fiber in seconds: tube color first, then fiber color. 👇 ❤️ Dale like si aprendiste algo nuevo hoy. #Datacenter #Curiosidades #Ciencia #Misterio #NVIDIA
How did one engineer take down Google for 4 hours? Google went down for four hours because a single technician unplugged every fiber optic cable going into an entire data center in 13 minutes. Alex breaks down how Google’s carefully engineered redundancy works (multiple cables, separate modems, individual power supplies, battery backups), why none of it mattered against one guy following what he thought were the maintenance instructions, and why the warning to stop couldn’t reach him in time because he’d already unplugged the cables the warning would have traveled through. #Google #Technews #DataCenter #Outage #Networking
#ArtificialIntelligence #AI #DataCenter #ServerCooling #Technology

Millions of people use AI every day but very few ever hear the infrastructure making it possible. The sound in this video was recorded around midnight near a large data center located close to hundreds of residential homes. Inside these facilities, thousands of servers run continuously, generating enormous amounts of heat that must be removed around the clock by powerful cooling systems, pumps and industrial scale ventilation equipment. As AI models become more powerful, data centers are becoming larger, consuming more electricity, more water and in some cases, creating entirely new challenges for the communities around them. Supporters argue that these facilities are essential for the future of technology, while critics point to concerns about noise, energy consumption and environmental impact. ✅NEXT MOVE → Join the FREE NEWSLETTER built for people who want to understand not only the software shaping the future but also the infrastructure quietly powering it 📰 #ai #artificialintelligence #datacenters #technology #datacenter

This is how modern Al data centers keep powerful GPUs from overheating. Instead of relying only on fans and air, some data centers use immersion cooling -submerging servers in a special non-conductive liquid that absorbs heat much more efficiently. As Al hardware becomes more powerful and energy-intensive, cooling technologies like this can improve efficiency, support higher computing density, and help keep systems running reliably. The faster Al gets... the smarter its cooling has to be. Follow for more tech, breakthroughs, and innovation driving the Al revolution.
