I made this account 6 years ago and somehow I never made a proper introduction. So hiya pal 👋🏻 🐭 I’m Winnie. Girl mom, Disney content creator, pin trader, DVC member, and a New Yorker who somehow ended up Disneyland adjacent. 🏰 Basically, I traded the subway for the monorail. I didn’t grow up with Disney, so getting to experience the magic now with my daughter makes it even more fun. 💛 Nice to meet you if you’re new, and thank you for sticking around and putting up with my shenanigans if you’ve been here a while! ✨

One of the biggest misconceptions about DVC is that you have to visit Disney every year for it to make sense. In reality, many members only visit every other year by banking and borrowing points. DVC generally makes the most sense for families who would otherwise be paying cash for at least a Moderate resort every couple of years. If you’re typically staying in Value resorts or off-property, it may not be the best fit. This isn’t financial advice, just my experience as a DVC member. Be sure to do your own research through DVC resale companies or Disney Vacation Club directly. Well that spiraled quick. My poor (literally now 😆) husband. After years of disney trips he’s now a “imma hang back at the resort guy” 🙃. Wilderness Lodge feels like stepping into a hidden retreat, peaceful, rustic, and filled with Disney magic in every detail. 🏞️🪵 ⁣ I still can’t believe this is my everyday reality.
