I walked over expecting to surprise this dad. Instead, his wife surprised me. He was at the mall with his family, strolling two of their little ones while his wife carried their newborn. Exactly the kind of everyday fatherhood moment Dad Built 365 was created to recognize. So I handed him a hat and some encouragement. Then his wife told me she had already ordered him the exact same hat after discovering Dad Built through one of our videos. I knew we’d eventually run into a dad who already owned one. I just didn’t expect it this soon. 😂 Since his was already on the way, we asked them to pass the hat we gifted forward. Find another dad in their life. Encourage him. Capture the moment. Tag @dadbuilt.co so we can share it and count it toward the 365. They said yes. And that’s when this became even better. Because the goal was never for us to personally hand out every hat. The goal is for encouragement to spread. Dad to dad. Family to family. Community to community. And to the moms who continue buying these hats for the fathers in their lives, we see you too. Thank you for helping good dads feel appreciated. Now we’re waiting to see where this hat goes next. 👀 Dad Built 365. 365 dads encouraged in 2026. One hat and one moment at a time. Three dads.⁣ ⁣ Three families.⁣ ⁣ Three completely ordinary days interrupted by a little encouragement.⁣ ⁣ None of these dads knew we were coming.⁣ ⁣ They were simply out with their families, doing what dads do, when a stranger walked up and handed them a hat.⁣ ⁣ But inside each hat was something more important.⁣ ⁣ A handwritten note meant to remind them that the way they show up for their family matters.⁣ ⁣ That’s what Dad Built 365 is really about.⁣ ⁣ Not just giving away hats.⁣ ⁣ It’s about finding fathers in the middle of everyday life and taking a moment to say:⁣ ⁣ We see you.⁣ Keep going.⁣ What you’re building matters.⁣ ⁣ And those notes aren’t only for the three dads in this video.⁣ ⁣ They’re for the dads watching too.⁣ ⁣ So if you needed some encouragement today, consider this your note.⁣ ⁣ Keep showing up.⁣ ⁣ Dad Built 365.⁣ 365 dads encouraged in 2026.⁣ One hat and one moment at a time.⁣ ⁣ Tag a dad who deserves a little encouragement today.⁣ ⁣ #DadBuilt #DadBuilt365⁣
This might be one of our favorite Dad Built 365 moments yet.⁣ ⁣ We walked up wanting to encourage a dad, only to find out his wife had already bought him the exact hat we were about to give him.⁣ ⁣ So instead of taking it back, we gave them a new mission:⁣ ⁣ Find another dad in their life who deserves some encouragement and give it to him.⁣ ⁣ Because that’s what we want Dad Built 365 to become.⁣ ⁣ Not just us encouraging dads.⁣ ⁣ Dads encouraging dads.⁣ Wives recognizing good fathers.⁣ Families reminding other families that showing up matters.⁣ ⁣ One moment of encouragement can keep moving long after we walk away.⁣ ⁣ Now there’s a hat out there waiting for another dad, and this time, we won’t be the ones choosing who gets it.⁣ ⁣ They will.⁣ ⁣ Dad Built 365.⁣ 365 dads encouraged in 2026.⁣ ⁣ But hopefully a whole lot more encouraged along the way.⁣ ⁣ #DadBuilt #DadBuilt365⁣
Sometimes the reminder Dad needs is already inside the hat. We met these dads at the park while they were spending time with their families. No setup. No expectation. Just real dads in the middle of real life. Then we handed them a Dad Built hat and showed them what’s written inside. “They’re watching everything.” “Stay patient.” “They need you.” “Your presence is the difference.” Reminders for the days fatherhood feels heavy. Because being Dad comes with a lot of responsibility, and it’s easy to forget how much the little things matter. The walk with the stroller. The trip to the park. The decision to put everything else aside and give your family your time. That’s why we put these words where Dad can carry them everywhere he goes. Wear the reminder. Keep going, Dad. Four dads. Four ordinary moments that became something bigger. None of them expected to be stopped. None of them were looking for recognition. They were just doing what dads do. Showing up. Spending time with their kids. Carrying the responsibility. Loving their families in ways most people never see. Then came the hat. The note. The reminder. You matter. What you’re building matters. That’s why these moments keep reaching beyond the dads receiving them. Because when one father feels seen, other dads watching feel seen too. But this video isn’t just for them. It’s also for you watching this. The encouragement is for every dad doing the work when nobody’s watching. Just because we didn’t hand you the hat personally doesn’t mean the message isn’t for you too. Dad Built 365. 365 dads encouraged in 2026. One hat and one moment at a time. The way we talk about fatherhood matters. Especially to the men who are giving it everything they’ve got. It’s easy to talk about what dads should be doing. Be present. Be patient. Provide. Protect. Lead by example. And those things matter. But how often do we stop and encourage the men who are actually trying to live them out? That’s why we started Dad Built 365. We’re going out into everyday places, finding fathers, and handing them a Dad Built hat with a handwritten note. It’s a simple gesture with a bigger purpose. We want dads to feel proud of the responsibility they’ve taken on, not just overwhelmed by the weight of it. We want them to know that being a father is something worth embracing. And we want their families to see that good fatherhood is worth celebrating. Because the more we encourage men to show up for their kids, the more families benefit. To every dad watching: Don’t let the pressure of being everything distract you from the importance of being there. Keep leading. Keep loving. Keep building. A father can be somebody’s whole world and still feel invisible to the rest of it. Think about that. To his kids, he’s the one they look for in a crowd. The one they want to tell their stories to. The one whose voice, attention, and presence can make an ordinary day feel special. But to everyone else, he might just be another guy walking through the park or spending time with his family. That’s why we stop. Because behind the title of Dad is a man who needs encouragement too. Through Dad Built 365, we’re surprising fathers with a hat and a handwritten note to remind them that the role they play is worth recognizing. And I hope these moments do more than make a few dads smile. I hope they remind us to pay attention to the good fathers around us. To celebrate the men who are choosing to be there. And to remember that the people who mean the most to their families deserve to know how much they matter. To every dad watching, you may feel ordinary to the world. But to your kids, there’s nobody quite like you. Never forget that. Dad Built 365. 365 dads encouraged in 2026. One hat and one moment at a time. Somewhere between raising kids and handling life, dads can forget just how much they matter. And that’s why we’re doing this. We found these dads in different places, enjoying time with their families and going about their day. One sitting with his wife and little ones. Another spending time with family outdoors. And another enjoying a day at the park. Different generations. Different stages of fatherhood. But the same important role. We stopped each of them with a Dad Built hat and a handwritten note. One reminder said: “They’re stronger because you are here.” Another: “Showing up today is building their tomorrow.” And that’s something I hope every dad watching this remembers. Your kids don’t need you to have all the answers. They need someone who keeps learning. Someone who makes time. Someone who loves them through every season of life. And even when they grow older, the impact of having a father who was there doesn’t disappear. That’s why Dad Built 365 isn’t just about the dads receiving hats. It’s about every father watching who needs a reminder that his role matters. Keep building, Dad. Dad Built 365. 365 dads encouraged in 2026. One hat and one moment at a time. “Your love shows up in a thousand little ways.” That’s the reminder one of these dads received. And when you really think about fatherhood, it’s true. It’s rarely one big thing. It’s getting in the water with them. Walking beside them. Holding them when they’re tired. Giving them your time when you could be doing something else. Three dads. Three moments we happened to witness. Three families experiencing the little ways Dad’s love shows up. These men weren’t doing anything for recognition. They were just being Dad. That’s what we want to keep noticing. Because the things that feel ordinary to you might mean everything to your kids. Dad Built 365. 365 dads encouraged in 2026. One hat and one moment at a time. I don’t know the last time someone stopped to encourage this dad.⁣ ⁣ So we did.⁣ ⁣ Sometimes dads spend so much time encouraging, providing for, and looking out for everyone else that nobody stops to encourage them.⁣ ⁣ That’s a big part of why Dad Built 365 exists.⁣ ⁣ To find dads in the middle of everyday life and remind them that the things that can feel ordinary are often the things their kids will value most.⁣ ⁣ Being there.⁣ Paying attention.⁣ Making the time.⁣ Showing up again tomorrow.⁣ ⁣ To the dads watching this:⁣ ⁣ Your presence is a real gift to them.⁣ ⁣ Don’t underestimate it.⁣ ⁣ Dad Built 365.⁣ 365 dads encouraged in 2026.⁣ One hat and one moment at a time.⁣ ⁣ #DadBuilt #DadBuilt365⁣
Not every person we approach is a dad.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Not every interaction turns into a hat being given away.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ But we keep looking because there’s always another dad who could use the reminder.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ And these two got messages worth sharing:⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ “Your impact reaches further than you see.”⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ “Your family is proud to call you Dad.”⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ You may never fully see the impact you’re having on your family.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ You might not hear “thank you” for every sacrifice.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ And your kids may not understand everything you’re doing for them right now.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Keep showing up anyway.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Because being a good father isn’t about getting recognition for every little thing you do.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ It’s knowing who you’re doing it for.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ And somewhere down the road, they’ll understand more than you think.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ To the dads doing their best to lead and love their families well:⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Keep going.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Your impact reaches further than you see.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ #DadBuilt #DadBuilt365⁣
