🎥 Onyx – “Last Dayz” (1995) “Last Dayz” is a single by Onyx, released in 1995 from their second album All We Got Iz Us. Artist: Onyx (Fredro Starr, Sticky Fingaz, Sonny Seeza) Album: All We Got Iz Us Released: 1995 Label: JMJ Records / Rush Associated Labels / Def Jam Produced by: Self (Fredro Starr) Built around a haunting piano loop and stripped-down drums, “Last Dayz” captures the darker, more militant tone of All We Got Iz Us compared to their debut. The track became one of Onyx’s most respected records, reflecting mid-90s East Coast tension and street paranoia. Known for its raw energy and aggressive delivery, this record stands as a defining moment in Onyx’s catalog and one of the grimiest cuts of that era. #90srap #realhiphop #undergroundhiphop #boombap #goldenera classicrap hiphopheads oldschoolhiphop hiphoparchive rarehiphop
20 años de Year of the Dog… #EsenciaHipHop #DMX #RuffRyders

1998, San Diego had one of them records that crossed the whole map. Jayo Felony dropped “What’cha Gonna Do” on Def Jam and brought San Diego into the same conversation with DMX, Method Man, Redman, WC, Mack 10 and the whole real rap era. That record wasn’t just a song — it was proof that San Diego could stand next to anybody. Now years later, the story continues. This new version is not replacing the classic. It’s paying respect to it. When a legend speaks at the end of the record and stamps the next generation, that’s bigger than music. That’s history passing the torch. From the original… to the remix… to now. Jayo Felony stamped it. San Diego, it’s our turn again. Everything dipped in gold ✨🔥 Released in 2012, All Gold Everything launched Trinidad James into the spotlight and became one of the most viral breakout records of the early 2010s. Originally gaining traction online before exploding on radio, the single peaked at No. 36 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was later certified Platinum. The success led to James signing a major deal with Def Jam, marking one of the era’s fastest internet-to-mainstream rises. Produced by Devon Gallaspy, the hypnotic, minimalist beat paired with Trinidad’s animated delivery turned the hook into a cultural moment. The phrase “popped a molly, I’m sweatin’” became one of the most quoted lines of the year, while the gold aesthetic influenced fashion, memes, and club culture. This was peak blog-era energy — colorful skinny jeans, statement chains, and a wave that felt raw and unfiltered before streaming fully took over. #HHGTV #TrinidadJames #2010sHipHop #BlogEra #RapNostalgia
