The holy trinity of skincare acids! 🧪✨
Confused about which drop does what? Here is the ultimate cheat sheet:
🖤 Salicylic Acid :-
Your go-to for clearing out pores, dissolving blackheads, and keeping excess oil in check.
💧 Hyaluronic Acid :-
The ultimate hydration station. Plumps up dry, scaly skin and locks in moisture like a sponge.
✨ Azelaic Acid :-
The pigmentation fading powerhouse. Say goodbye to dark spots and hello to an even, glowing tone.
Which of these is the MVP in your current routine? Let me know in the comments! 👇

Here's the breakdown:
Niacinamide: Your go-to for excess sebum. It helps regulate oil production and keeps pores from looking enlarged.
Glycolic Acid: The surface smoother. It breaks down the "glue" holding dead skin cells together to prevent comedones.
Salicylic Acid: An oil-soluble BHA that dives deep into the follicle to clear out micro-cysts and trapped debris.
Azelaic Acid: The redness-reducer. Perfect for calming pustules and preventing post-acne marks.
At Solliehealth, we don't believe in guesswork. We believe in science-backed skin health.

Comment “products” for my clean face faves!
“Washing my face twice a day” and “having a truly clean face” are not always the same thing.
If you’re constantly dealing with enlarged pores and those tiny black dots on your nose, the issue may not be that you’re washing too little, it may be that you’re not removing everything effectively.
Think about it:
🧴 Long-wear makeup
☀️ Water-resistant sunscreen
💧 Excess oil and sebum
These products are designed to stay on your skin, which means a quick cleanse often isn’t enough to fully break them down.
That’s why I’m a big fan of double cleansing.
✨ Step 1: Use micellar water or an oil-based cleanser to dissolve makeup, sunscreen, and excess oil.
✨ Step 2: Follow with a gentle cleanser to remove any remaining residue and leave your skin truly clean.
And those little black dots on your nose?
Most of the time, they’re actually sebaceous filaments, not blackheads.
They’re a normal part of your pores, but they can become more noticeable when oil and dead skin cells build up.
A few nights a week, adding a gentle AHA/BHA exfoliating cleanser can help keep them from becoming more prominent and oxidized.
The goal isn’t to scrub your skin harder.
It’s to use the right ingredients to properly remove what’s sitting on it. ✨

Comment “products” for some of my skincare and makeup faves!
A good primer can absolutely make makeup look smoother- but as a dermatologist, I’m way more interested in making the skin itself look better underneath.
Most primers work by using ingredients like silicones or silica powders to temporarily blur:
• Pores
• Fine lines
• Uneven texture
But if you want your skin to naturally look smoother without relying entirely on makeup, consistency matters more than filters or viral products.
Here are some dermatologist-approved basics:
🌙 Retinoids / Retinol
Help stimulate collagen, improve texture, and increase cell turnover over time. Think long-term skin quality, not overnight results.
☀️ Vitamin C (morning antioxidant)
Helps brighten the skin and improve uneven tone while protecting against oxidative stress.
💧 Hyaluronic Acid
Draws water into the skin, making it look more hydrated, plump, and “glowy.”
✨ PDRN
A trending ingredient often used for skin rejuvenation and hydration to help support overall skin quality and that “glass skin” look.
And if you want in-office treatments:
Microneedling – great for texture and acne scars
Resurfacing lasers (like mild CO2) – more intensive treatments for pores, texture, and collagen remodeling

Eczema flare-up management starts with the basics: reduce inflammation, protect the skin barrier, and avoid overloading your skin with active ingredients. Gentle cleansing, consistent moisturising, and identifying triggers make the biggest difference long term, not “quick fixes.”

फेस पर बर्फ लगाने से Acne ठीक होता है? जानिए सच | Ice on Face Reality
