Dinosaurs are siiiiiiiiiick. Had the best time making dino fossil puppets for the Natural History Museum. Nothing matches working for @realitysplayground with your talented friends. Got to get my hands in multiple fabrication processes, but here are some time lapses of test assembling our Triceratops (Bone-Kota), working on the feet mech for our T-Rex (Fossil Hunter), and coating Hunter’s bones. Be sure to catch the Dinosaur Encounters live show at @nhmla on Fridays through Sundays (starting this Saturday, March 7th) 🦖

Behind the scenes at the iconic Saurier Museum Aathal @sauriermuseumaathal (near Zurich), in collaboration with the legendary Siber family, our partners in multiple groundbreaking dinosaur projects. In this video, our paleontologist Dr. Fred takes you step by step into how we begin preparing a baby Sauropod, one of the most gentle giants of the Jurassic. These long-necked plant-eaters started life tiny and vulnerable (often just the size of a large dog at hatching), growing over decades into the largest land animals ever. Paleontology reveals that many never made it to adulthood, becoming prey in a ecosystem where ‘life was cheap’, but those that survived reshaped our planet. The preparation process is meticulous: from careful excavation to lab cleaning, stabilization, and reconstruction, every fragment tells a story millions of years old. It’s an absolute privilege for Granada to work alongside the Saurier Museum’s world-class prep lab, turning raw fossils into windows to the past. Through our joint projects, we aim to bring knowledge directly to you, from the dig site to the Museum. Stay tuned for more on our upcoming dinosaur collaborations!

#FossilFriday Feature✨ "Ozzy - History Meets an Icon" Triceratops prorsus McCone County - Montana, USA Late Cretaceous 68-66 Million Years Old Across time and culture, the image of the horn has symbolized power, protection, and defiance. From the sacred bulls of the Minoans to the modern rock music culture, horns embody both danger and vitality. In twentieth century concert halls, the "sign of the horns" became an emblem of resistance and unity, a gesture rising from darkness toward sound and freedom. In naming this specimen "Ozzy," the preparation team at Geoworld offer a tribute that unites science and rock and roll, prehistory and passion. The rose gold mounting transforms the fossil into an icon - a relic of earth's ancient past reborn as a symbol of creative eternity. 68 million years later, Ozzy the Triceratops roars once more — not with sound, but with presence. It reminds us that all life, from the primordial to the modern, pulses to the same eternal rhythm.
