You already know your life’s purpose. You’re just not listening to your intuition. For me, it was painting. I’ve been painting since I was 15. It was always there—something I loved, something that made me feel calm, something I kept coming back to. But I didn’t take it seriously. I told myself it wasn’t productive. That it wasn’t practical. That I needed to focus on something that meant more. So I spent most of my 20s chasing achievement instead—trying to build a life that looked successful on paper. And somewhere along the way… I lost the plot. Then I got sick. And when your world gets that small—when your health is gone and your quality of life disappears—achievement doesn’t matter anymore. All I could think was: I wish I had enjoyed my life more. I wish I hadn’t spent so much time trying to prove something. So when I finally had the chance to rebuild—even in a limited way—I asked a different question: Not “what will make me successful?” But “what will actually support my life?” And the answer was obvious. It had always been there. Painting. What I’ve learned is this: You can choose a path based on money, status, or how it sounds to other people… Or you can choose something your body can actually sustain. Because if you don’t listen to your intuition now— your body will make you listen later. If you feel lost, look at what’s been quietly showing up in your life all along. Look at what brings you peace, not pressure. Society tells us:

Don’t want too much. Don’t need anything. Stay safe. Be grateful. 
But here’s what I know to be true:
 People don’t stay stuck because they want too much.
 They stay stuck because they won’t let themselves want honestly.
 They water it down. They make it reasonable.

They worry about what others will think. 
They decide, then un-decide. They dream, then downplay.

They get clarity, then talk themselves out of it. 
Over and over again. 
Let yourself want it. 
Wanting — with belief and vision— moves your entire life. 
Identifying what you truly want, let go of the ideas that tell you can’t have it, go after it fully, and watch it become your reality — that’s the work. It’s not about needing nothing, it’s about wanting clearly. And letting that want move you. 
This Friday, I’m hosting a live Vision Board Party. 
And no — it’s not really about the board.

It’s about the vision. 
It’s about learning how to know your vision, hold it steady, and become the woman who trusts herself enough to go all in — on her dreams and on herself.

Four years ago my therapist told me, “Stop taking an opinion poll on your life. It’s your life.” YOU get to make all the decisions—big & small. No one knows you like you know yourself. And if you don’t fully know yourself yet or what you want, that’s your invitation to start doing the work. Because when you do, everything opens up. The options. The opportunities. The confidence. You have to just believe you can do it & then keep going. When I started move&make, my only goal was to work on it one hour a day while still working my 9–5. That meant evenings & weekends when my body was drained and my brain hurt. But small and consistent turned into momentum. Momentum turned into community. Community turned into something beautiful. You don’t need everyone’s approval. You need an internal belief in yourself. Take advice from people who have gone where you want to go. Not from people who are too afraid to try and would rather convince you to settle so they feel less alone. You can do it. You can make that move. 🤍 #moveandmake #confidence #femalefounders #girlboss

WE DID IT! WE SAVED THE STUDIO FROM FAILING!!! I entered this week with a very heavy heart and a mind stuck on “what’s next if I can’t find a solution soon?” The thought of closing the doors to the studio was unbearable. There have been many keys I’ve given back as an adult - these were keys I refused to surrender. What would I do? Where will I pull this money from? And HOW!? I must be a failure so how will I fix this? Maybe I should just quit! But something wouldn’t let me. I was honest. With myself and with all of you. When I was making that post Tuesday, I kept wondering who’d see it. I just knew there would be people laughing and rejoicing at my pain. Instead, there has only been a resounding reveal of the community that has been there all along. Not laughing at me, but cheering. I hope yall aren’t tired of me yet because we’re just getting started - thanks to YOU! Community. With gratitude, Bri #MustardSeedeStudioGR
