Ever wondered what our monthly litter picks look like? 🚮✨ We recently teamed up with Ant from the Neighbourhood Wardens to tackle the Viaduct area after a suggestion from our Community Champion volunteers. It’s not just about picking up cans, we also deal with fly-tipping and help ensure our streets stay safe and tidy. Remember, leaving waste out improperly can lead to council fines, so let’s work together to keep Durham looking its best! 🤝 Join our next Litter Pick! Want to get involved and give back to the community? Date: 17th March Time: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Location: TBC Sign up using the link in our bio! We want to hear from you! 📍 Where should we head next? Drop a comment below with any areas in Durham that could use a little extra TLC (pun intended), and we might just see you there! 👇
We had the pleasure of teaming up with @kpeuauoft @greenmovescampaign_uoft this Monday to host a cleanup on the UofT campus! In a short amount of time we saw eager staff, students, and volunteers. Together, we collected 2,817 pieces of litter from the campus grounds. 👀 This is a great reminder that litter still exists under all that snow. Keep an eye out, and join an event with us to help tackle this problem. 💚 Find events on our website 📆 www.agreenerfuture.ca/events-page #AGreenerFuture #CommunityEvents #LitterCleanup #SustainableSolutions

Thanks to Journalism students, Fionn and Cian, for documenting our wonderful clothes swap event yesterday. They did a great job of highlighting the issues with fast fashion and finding out why events like clothes swaps help the environment. @antaisce @greencampusireland @greenschoolsire #beginheregoanywhere #thisisfet #greenweek2026 #Greendcfe
