Dublin Live joined the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Daryl Barron on an unofficial, unaccompanied walk, through the streets of the capital recently, with homeless activist, Theresa Kelly, to see at first hand what goes on, daily in the city We came across numerous people who are sadly experiencing homelessness. Some were open and honest to talk about their situations, some we couldn’t film, all in all their stories are harrowing. With respect and empathy, Daryl and Theresa personally tried desperately to get them into overnight emergency accommodation. Unfortunately one young lady didn’t avail of it which highlights the break down of some of our services at night
