Did you know that duct tape originally was created for military use?
A lot of inventions do originally come from the military, like the GPS, the computer and cargo pants.
But one of the other inventions that came out of the military was duct tape which was originally invented to seal ammunition crates in order to protect them from water.
Soldiers however realized that it worked well to fix anything, and from there it turned into the most useful fix-everything item in the world!
