👋 Meet Diego Sancho Gallegos, marine scientist, ocean advocate and manager of Save the Waves app (@savethewavescoalition) working to protect coastal communities in Costa Rica and around the world. His own water hobbies, like surfing and SCUBA, helped him connect to the larger issues of climate change and coastal resilience. 🌊 Diego recently completed the “Co-Growth” course with fellow ECOPs hosted by the Ocean Decade Collaborative Centre for Coastal Resilience to dive deeper into coastal monitoring tools to help support his work. 🏄 Diego plans to bring what he learned from this course back to his surfing community. LIFE UPDATE: In June, I sat for my Executive Certificate Proficiency (ECOP) in Insurance exams and passed both papers with DISTINCTION!! 🥳 🥳🥳🥳 This certification is a mandatory requirement for all insurance agents by the Insurance Regulatory Authority. Distinction is the highest score, which means that if you ever need a whole life insurance cover, you will be served by the crème de la crème! 📌 If this is the first time you’re learning about life insurance: The main reason why we buy a whole life insurance cover is to protect our beneficiaries from premature death. For example, if a parent passed on prematurely, what will happen to their kids? 👧🏾 👦🏾 You need to be insured so that if you passed on prematurely, you leave them X amount of millions so they can continue living uninterrupted, at least financially.
