#EarthHour

#augsburg #earthhour #earthhour2026 #klima umwelt

Bearings’ manufacturing approach to environmental responsibility is built on transparency, measurable action, and embedding sustainability across its value chain. As the first Indian bearing manufacturer to publish Environmental Product Declarations, NBC released independently verified EPDs for eight bearing types in June 2025, following ISO 14025 and EN 15804 standards and registered with the International EPD® System. This landmark achievement is a core pillar of ESG Project PLANET, our comprehensive framework dedicated to driving various initiatives and activities that make NBC more sustainable from the ground up. These EPDs detail full life-cycle impacts from raw material to end-of-life, helping global customers meet ESG and Scope 3 reporting while also serving as an internal roadmap to identify high-impact materials, cut waste, and optimize energy use. In alignment with this vision, NBC also observed "Earth Hour"—a collective effort to power down unnecessary appliances and foster a deep-rooted culture of mindfulness throughout the organization. NBC also committed to enforce ISO 14001 goals & objective of Environmental Management System. Because Earth Hour is more than a moment — it’s a movement. Now we ask you: what habits will you switch on for the Earth? 🌍💚 Because it’s not just what we do for one hour. It’s what we choose to do every day that shapes our planet’s future. Consistency is power. Small actions, done daily, create lasting change. #SwitchOnHabitsForEarth
