A pleasure to speak at the East Midlands Elite (EME) Expo at the Hinckley Island @leonardohotels today.
The EME is a group of senior professionals from agencies, suppliers, venues and hotels across our region, and today was an opportunity to showcase the East Midlands as being at the forefront of events management in the UK.
It was great to see so many people passionate about their business and the opportunities in our region.

At Vegan Camp Out, there were plant based meals galore. Literally anything and everything you can imagine. Every protein and cuisine at the world's largest vegan camp out, right here in the East Midlands!! 🌎
It wasn't just the delicious food, but a whole variety of entertainment from @missdianemorgan and @jmebbkinsta to @georgemonbiot, @henningwehncomedy to @earthlinged, @moby to @akalamusic, and so many more 🕺🏼
This festival was so good for the soul. To be around thousands of like-minded people, who were all so inclusive of the many open minded non-vegans in attendance, was just refreshing 🏕️
After three days of just ordering "a latte" with no milk anxiety required, coming back to our enforced reality has been a wake up call. We live in a world in which huge corporations make billions through the exploitation of animals, people and planet. Veganism is not just about what you eat, it's a social justice movement. It's a way of life 🌻
