Students sitting in today’s classrooms will enter a world that demands flexibility, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills. Enter: arts integration! Through arts integration, learning becomes more active, meaningful, and memorable for students. Educators feel it too. In research from USC's REM Center evaluation of ArtsNOW partner schools, 89% of teachers said arts integration positively impacts their classroom environment, and 91% said it strengthens their relationships with students. This National Arts in Education Week, we wanted to show you what that looks like - classrooms where creative learning is part of everyday instruction.🎨⭐️ Here's to integrating the arts into *every* classroom! #ArtsNOW #artsintegratedlearning #artsintegration #NationalArtsInEducationWeek #NAEW2026
🎨🎶🎭💃 Celebrating National Arts in Education Week! 💃🎭🎶🎨 This week, we’re celebrating the hard-working arts educators who inspire creativity, build confidence and help our students discover new ways to express themselves through art, music, drama and dance. ❤️ At @westlawnmiddleschool, art teacher Toborsha Holley turned her passion for art into a career in education after teaching art during TCS Summer Learning. Today, she’s inspiring the next generation of artists in her classroom. 🖌️✨ See Ms. Holley and her students in action and hear why her class is about more than just creating art—it’s about creativity, expression, confidence and discovering what’s possible. 🌟 #NationalArtsInEducationWeek #ArtsInEducation #ArtsEducation #TCSArts #TuscaloosaCitySchools #WestlawnMiddleSchool #ArtEducation #CreativeExpression #InspiringExcellence #FutureArtists
Education is not just a policy. It is the foundation of health, progress, justice and Jamaica’s future. This Education Week, I celebrate our teachers, principals, parents and students who show up every day for that foundation. But celebration needs honesty too. Too many children leave school without basic literacy. Too many brilliant teachers leave for better pay abroad. Too many schools lack what they need. We must face this with urgency and purpose. Our children are depending on us. #EducationWeek
👀Take a peek of Chamber Singers warming up their voices and building the focus and connection that help them sing as one. This National Arts in Education Week, we’re celebrating the meaningful learning that happens long before any performance. #themontessorischoolofsanantonio #mssa #montessorischool
In case you didn't know, it's National Arts in Education Week! 🎨 From painting to making music, art comes in so many different shapes and forms. It gives our students a unique way to express themselves, learn through hands-on creation, and simply have fun. We popped into Ms. Hill's class at School #7 who has been teaching for nearly 30 years! She shared why arts education is important for all students, and how stepping into the music room helps even the quietest kids come out of their shell and build lifelong confidence. #ONERCSD
🎨 Happy National Arts in Education Week! The arts are an essential part of a complete education. Arts education gives young people opportunities to create, express themselves, build confidence, and connect with others. And we’re celebrating by sharing a few moments from the kickoff of our Youth Arts in the Parks Fall Creative Club! This past Saturday, students began creating and learning at six locations throughout Miami-Dade County, participating in Animation Arts, Creative Arts & Movement, and Visual Arts. Youth Arts in the Parks is just one of the All Kids Included (AKI) programs working to make meaningful arts experiences accessible and inclusive for children and youth with and without disabilities throughout our community. Because every child deserves the opportunity to experience, learn and grow through the arts. ❤️ #ArtsInEducationWeek #ArtsEducation #AllKidsIncluded #YouthArtsInTheParks #MiamiDadeArts Video Description: The video features children and youth participating in activities across the program’s six Miami-Dade County locations. Students are shown learning digital animation on laptops, creating visual art projects, and participating in creative movement and dance activities with instructors. Clips capture students learning, creating, moving, interacting with their peers, and enjoying hands-on arts experiences in an inclusive and welcoming environment.
SCHOOLS ARE LOUD AGAIN Getting cell phones out of the classroom is a rare issue with significant bipartisan support, allowing a rapid adoption of policies across red and blue states alike. Some 31 states and the District of Columbia now restrict students’ use of cell phones in schools, according to Education Week. Caption from article by Sequoia Carrillo, NPR
Every Student, Every Community deserves the chance to imagine, create, and heal through art. National Arts in Education Week is almost here (Sept 13–19), and we're gearing up to celebrate the teachers, students, and advocates fighting for creative freedom in California schools. 92% of Americans want arts in schools (@americans4arts). We're making sure that demand becomes reality, holding districts accountable so funding reaches every classroom. How has arts education shaped your life? Tell us below. It’s National Arts in Education Week, time to celebrate the arts and make the case for arts education. Here are a few reasons: students do better in school when they have arts education; arts education inspires creativity and enhances communication skills, which are important for economic growth and innovation; and, importantly, the arts help heal and our nation needs healing. I introduced the bipartisan Arts Education for All Act to expand arts education and help students become confident, creative, critical thinkers.
🎨 National Arts in Education Week 🎭 This week, we celebrate the important role the arts play in education and in giving young people the freedom to imagine, create, perform and express themselves. At Glenwood High School, developing the whole young man means recognising that talent takes many forms. Through Drama, Visual Arts and other creative and cultural opportunities, boys can explore interests beyond academics and sport, build confidence and discover abilities they may not have known they possessed. The arts encourage creativity, communication, collaboration and new ways of seeing the world, skills that extend far beyond the stage, studio or classroom. Because there is more than one way to excel. 💚 Happy National Arts in Education Week to our young creatives and the educators who encourage them to find and use their voice. #NationalArtsInEducationWeek #ArtsInEducation #MoreThanSport #MoreThanASchool #GlenwoodHigh #GreenMachine #Drama #VisualArts #Creativity #BuildingGreatMenSince1910
