Life for the kids right now… 😅 they never know what they’re gonna get! Will they wake up in a city, the rainforest, or at the beach? Will they sleep in a bed of their own, squeezed between their siblings, or in a bunk bed? As long as we’re all together, they don’t seem to mind. They’re curious and adaptable, and for them, home is wherever family is. ❤️ We try to give them the best pieces of this chocolate box of a journey: new friends, wild learning moments, and memories to last a lifetime. ☺️ ✨ Do you know where this video is taken? There's just something magical watching my Dad play with Emma. It takes me right back to that age and all the Edventures we had together. My Dad was a police Lieutenant for 30 plus years, so there were years where we missed spending time together on holidays because of his work schedule. I wonder where my dedication to doing the best job possible comes from? 🤔 Instead of sleeping, my Dad would take me to the park, play games, watch shows and when I got older, he was my loudest cheerleader at my various sporting events. My Dad has always been there and now he's doing the same for Emma. But he's gotten to do some of the things he didn't get to do with me, with her. Like trick or treating on Halloween or being there on Christmas morning. In 5th grade, I had to write an essay about a role model that I look up to. All my classmates picked actors or musicians or athletes but I was the only person who wrote about their Dad. I don't need a Michael Jordan or a Luke Perry, I got my Dad. You still are my hero Daddy. Thank you for every single sacrifice you've made for me and our family. Every step you've taken has laid the path for me. If I could be 1% of the human being you are, I'd be happy. I will continue to strive to be the best I can be, just like you. I love you.
