An hour and a half from Cape Town, but it feels like another world entirely. @BartholomeusKlip is one of those places I never want to leave.
We spent the weekend at Wild Olive House on the farm, eating incredibly well (Louise Gillet's cooking is something special), doing morning game drives and walks in the reserve, visiting the geometric tortoise nursery, and swimming in the pool while the mountains turned pink at sunset.
It's the kind of weekend that reminds us that stepping away from everything fills the soul.
