Some places don’t feel real… 📍 Muralles de Finestres, where Catalonia meets Aragón Natural stone walls that look like something out of a movie. Remote, untouched.. We saw 2 other people in 24 hours. 👀 Had to capture a little video, but it doesn’t do it justice. #HiddenSpain #beautifuldestinations #hikevibes #wandelvakantie #travelspain
The Caminito del Rey ("King's Path") is a spectacular, secured high-altitude hiking trail in Andalusia, Spain, which leads through the gorges of the Guadalhorce River and used to be considered the most dangerous in the world, but is now safe to walk after renovations, offering breathtaking views of steep rock faces and a suspension bridge; the trail is about 7-8 km long and is walked in one direction, with helmet requirements and sturdy shoes and good fitness recommended. Facts about Caminito del Rey: Location: Near Málaga, Andalusia, Spain, between Ardales and El Chorro. Length: Around 7-8 km (total route including access routes about 7.7 km), duration about 3-4 hours. Character: One-way hike (from north to south) leads through gorges, partly over wooden walkways at a height of over 100 meters. History: Previously extremely dangerous; reopened in 2015 to make it safe. #naturelovers #caminitodelrey #hikingadventures #andalusia #travelphotography
I went to Malaga last winter and had a really good time, but only stayed in the city itself and didn’t explore any further. This time I rented a car for three days which cost a grand total of £25 and explored much further away. I first spotted Setenil de las Bodegas on one of @Ryan ☘️ Irish Travel Addict 🌍 ‘s reels as had never heard of it before. So went to check it out on my Spanish road trip. Welcome to Setenil de las Bodegas, where people literally live under a rock! 🪨🏠 Unlike most cave dwellings that are dug into the ground, these houses were built by walling off the natural overhangs of the gorge. The result? Entire streets where massive boulders serve as the roof! Key spots to see: ☀️ Calle Cuevas del Sol: The most famous street, filled with sunny tapas bars tucked under the rock. 🌑 Calle Cuevas de la Sombra: A street where the rock covers the sky completely, keeping it cool all year round. 💋 Bésame En Este Rincón: The viral “Kiss Me in This Corner” photo spot. 🏰 The Moorish Castle: For the best views over the white-washed rooftops. Adding this to your Spain bucket list? 📍✈️ #setenildelasbodegas #spain #traveltiktok #pueblosblancos #andalucia
