Water soluble fabric magic ✨ The base fabric I stitch my embroidered art onto is the magic ingredient in my work. It is what allows me to create sculptural embroideries without any visible vase cloth in the final pieces. This fabric acts as a temporary surface for my stitched drawings and when the design is complete the fabric is washed away leaving only my thread drawing behind. The washing process is my favourite part of the process and it feels like magic every time.
