You’ve probably heard…
“You need 3–6 months of expenses saved.”
But real life isn’t generic.
The right amount of emergency money isn’t about a rule —
it’s about your life, your risks, and your responsibilities.
When you have the right amount saved, everything changes.
You can pause.
You can think clearly.
You can make better decisions.
That’s real financial confidence. 💛

After you’ve paid off all of your non-mortgage debt, it’s time to grow your emergency fund from your starter amount of $1,000 to a fully funded emergency fund. Having 3-6 months’ worth of expenses set aside gives you peace of mind to handle whatever Murphy throws your way, and it’s also insurance for you, ensuring that you never go back into debt. #savingmoney #emergencyfund

3 Things You Must Do As Soon As You Get Paid!
Comment ‘350’ on this reel for a link to the HYSA Bonus.
1️⃣ Have 3-6 months of emergency funds saved up. This will help if you ever run into an unexpected medical bill, home repair, car maintenance, or job loss. If you have $3000 a month in expenses: target between $9-18k.
2️⃣ Pay off high interest rate debt. Anything greater than 8%.
3️⃣ Start investing. $500 a month into a brokerage or Roth IRA, or 401k, can do wonders for your retirement account. For brokerages, I personally like Fidelity, Robinhood, Schwab, and Vanguard.
That’s it! Let me know if you have any questions. #money #bank #emergencyfund #personalfinance

$7,300 in vet bills. No pet insurance.
I’d rather save a little each month for emergencies, but maybe I’m wrong.
Has pet insurance actually paid off for you, or is it just expensive peace of mind?
