Most people either do too little and call it “trust,”
or they keep pushing long after they’ve done what they can.
Both create frustration.
A better question is: have I actually done what’s reasonable?
If the answer is no, then there’s more to do.
If the answer is yes, then continuing to push isn’t helping... it’s just costing you your peace of mind.
That’s the shift. Knowing when your role ends.

Who Is a Jew? 3 Shofars, 3 Types of Jewish Identity 📯🔥✨
The moment the Torah was given, the sound of the shofar filled the air — again and again 📯⚡
Not by accident.
Why was the shofar so central at Har Sinai? 🏔️
And why does that same shofar return in the story of the final redemption? 🌅📯
In this shiur, we uncover the mystery of the shofar, its deep connection to Jewish identity 🧬✡️, and its echo from Sinai all the way to Geulah 🔥➡️🌍. Drawing on Torah sources 📖 and a powerful teaching from Rav Kook ✨, we ask one timeless question:
Who is a Jew — and what is the shofar really calling us to? 📯💫

1. Most of the mitzvos women are exempt from are time-bound (like tefillin, certain prayers, sukkah, etc).
Why?
Because women are entrusted with roles that can’t always run on a schedule: children, home, family, emotional and spiritual atmosphere
The Torah doesn’t want a woman torn between:
“Do I take care of my baby… or run to do a mitzvah right now
2. In Jewish thought, obligation does not equal spiritual value.
More obligations doesn’t mean “better.”
It means “needs more structure.”
Men are given more external structure.
Women are trusted with more internal consistency.
3. Tanya explains that women are rooted in bina which is deep inner understanding.
That means: Stronger emotional-spiritual intuition, more natural connection, more internalized faith
So women don’t need as many “reminders” through constant rituals. The connection is already there.
4. Women Still Do Hundreds of Mitzvos
Women are fully obligated in:
-Shabbos
-Kashrus
- Tznius
-Brachos
-Chesed
-Emunah
-Family purity
-Chinuch (raising Jewish kids)
-Prayer (at least once daily, many do more)
Plus:
Lighting Shabbos candles literally brings holiness into the world.
5.Judaism sees men and women like:
Two branches from the same soul-root.
Men: bring holiness down through structure and time.
Women: reveal holiness inside real life.
Public vs. private.
Outer vs. inner.
Schedule vs. soul.
Both are essential.

Waiting is hard. We all know that feeling.
Rabbi Haber reframed it: you’re not stuck, you’re in a “waiting school.”
There’s something you’re meant to learn, build, and become here.
Don’t just wait to get out.
Go to class.

Do you know what biblical faith is?
⠀⠀
When I first started following Jesus, I thought faith was an intellectual decision—I understood there was a God, so therefore I had faith. I thought faith only happened in my mind.
⠀⠀
But the Hebrew word for “faith” is “emunah” (אמנה, pronounced “em-oo-naw”), which literally means “to take firm action”. Emunah is a verb that is less about KNOWING, and more about DOING. The implication of this word is that to have faith is to act.
⠀⠀
Faith doesn’t just happen in your head, but in your entire body. Emunah means to rely on God enough to take a step forward.
⠀⠀
Throughout the Bible, the idea of faith is kind of like a staircase—you may intellectually know that the stairs go up to the next level, but until you climb the stairs, you won’t experience that next level. This is what Martin Luther King meant when he said that “faith is taking the first step even when you can’t see the whole staircase”.
⠀⠀
And that’s because according to the biblical definition of faith, what you do is more important than what you know.
⠀⠀
Author @BobGoff sums up faith simply as; “Love God. Love people. Do stuff.” You can’t just believe in the stairs. You can’t just rely on the stairs. You can’t just know the stairs are there. You have to climb the stairs!
⠀⠀
So, is your faith defined by what you DO … or what you KNOW?
⠀⠀
Do you spend more time serving people, or quoting scripture?
⠀⠀
If you’d like a deeper look into what it means to have biblical faith, COMMENT with the word EMUNAH and I’ll DM you a video that unpacks this even further.
⠀⠀•
Isn’t it obvious that God-talk without God-acts is outrageous nonsense? — James 2:17
No existe la casualidad.
Cada paso, cada encuentro, cada momento…
fue preparado por Hashem.
El día que eliminas “casual”…
empiezas a ver a Dios.

LIFE IS ART by Yaeli Vogel
Do you ever feel like you’re fully in control? Sometimes it feels that way—but then life reminds us to zoom out and see the bigger picture.
In this week’s Parsha, Behar–Bechukotai, we learn about Shmittah—the mitzvah of letting the land rest every seventh year. Imagine stepping back completely, releasing control, and trusting that even without working the land, Hashem will provide for you and your family.
Bechukotai deepens this message. It teaches that when we walk in Hashem’s ways and place our trust in Him—even in uncertainty—there is a greater sense of security than anything we can create on our own. True strength isn’t in controlling every outcome, but in knowing when to let go and have faith.
We can put in all the effort, plan, and build—but ultimately, everything is in Hashem’s hands.
