This horse in unreal 🤯
I’ve never seen a horse be this quick on the legs and thinking and reacting as he goes along! 🔥
What a blessing it is to ride him!
My little rocket who thinks he’s a professional hopper and skipper 😂👌🏼🌟

Safety first at Spring Horse Trials! 🐴👏
FEI frangible pins did exactly what they’re designed to do, releasing on impact to help keep horse and rider safe. Once the pins let go, our incredible team of volunteers had the jump back up and running in no time 💪✨
A huge thank you to everyone who helps keep our course safe and running smoothly! 🤍
The rider has been covered to protect their privacy, both horse and rider are ok, thanks to the frangible pins 🫶

Jessica Phoenix described Lacey as a “sports car”.
Quick thinking, fast, efficient across the ground and good on tight turns.
Watching these two through the water at Aachen, it was the “quick thinking” part that interested me.
Because what does a quick thinking horse actually need from the rider?
At this level, Jessica has already done an enormous amount of the work before they arrive here. Lacey knows her job. Jessica knows her horse. The line is there and it looks almost effortless.
So perhaps the interesting part isn’t how much Jessica does.
It’s how much her riding makes available to Lacey.
Enough direction that the question is clear, without taking away the horse’s ability to read it.
Enough information to shape the answer, without supplying every part of it.
Jessica described Aachen as “intense” because of the questions being asked and the turns they were being asked on.
On a course like that, having a horse who can think quickly matters.
But so must having a rider who leaves enough space for them to do it.
Perhaps some of the best riding is knowing how much thinking to leave to the horse!!

THIS IS WHAT FIVE-STAR COURAGE LOOKS LIKE
The clip lasts barely thirteen seconds, yet it captures one of eventing’s defining qualities. A bay horse meets a massive fixed obstacle spanning a water-filled ditch, commits instantly and produces a huge, clean effort. This is not conventional arena show jumping. It is cross-country: the eventing phase that tests speed, stamina, judgment and jumping ability over solid fences, banks, water and ditches.
The footage visually matches an image published by Eventing Nation identifying the combination as U.S. rider Ariel Grald and Leamore Master Plan, “Simon”. We have not independently verified the exact competition or year represented by this clip, so Hipismo Global will not attach an event name to the jump without stronger evidence.
The partnership is well documented. Grald and the Irish Sport Horse gelding finished 12th at Kentucky and 10th at Burghley in 2019, third at Luhmühlen in 2021 and 15th at Badminton in 2022. Later that year they represented the United States at the FEI Eventing World Championships in Pratoni, finishing 11th individually. US Equestrian lists Leamore Master Plan as a 2009 gelding by Master Imp, owned by Anne Eldridge.
That record gives the video its real meaning. The spectacle is obvious, but elite cross-country is not about throwing a horse at something enormous. It is about establishing rhythm, presenting the question clearly and having a horse confident enough to commit when the rider asks.
📌 Hipismo Global View:
The size of the jump gets the replay. The partnership is what makes it possible. At the top of eventing, courage must be organised: fitness, balance, accuracy and trust all have to arrive at the fence together. Great combinations do not make the obstacle smaller — they make an extraordinary question look manageable.
