#ExperimentalDrawing

DRAW IT OUT . . Because sometimes you just have to draw it out... Automatic, Expressive and Experimental drawing is a huge part of my art and creative process and practice. For me I love the fun of seeing what emerges from the unconscious -- it's kind of scary and exciting at the same time. It's also a way yo help me to make deeper connections to myself and the work that wants to be created -- Embracing how I work in this cyclic process in my studio has really changed the way I look at my whole art and life practice -- It's funny how you can be going along and not really understanding something in the moment but then all the sudden smack, you get a huge realization -- It doesn't always come the way we would expect -- Sometimes it really takes a shaking to awaken and claim something deeper. It can be mundane or it can be ecstatic, too -- You just never know... It's why I love the Art and Creative process so much! How about you ? Have any A-HA moments lately that created a deeper realization? It's nice when it happens isn't it? You feel a little bit more free-er each time -- I love that!

Just TWO SEATS left in my Experimental Drawing (Part 1) workshop starting June 21 @studio_lineofsight. This workshop is about self-reflection, self-expression, the creative process and your unique vocabulary as an artist. “Wading into the unknown” perfectly describes this five-week adventure. Also learn to use watersoluble graphite in the process. Part-time Art doing some experimental drawing, with the final product being a sort of disjointed 'linking' of different artistic styles! Super cool. #experimentaldrawing #drawing #stilllife #skeletonmodel
