Here are 5 more cool puffin facts: 👇 1. Puffins are amazing swimmers and can dive up to 60m when searching for fish. 2. Puffins spend about a third of the year (winter!) at sea! That’s about 8 months of bobbing around in the cold North Atlantic ocean, before coming back to land to mate and nest. 3. When Atlantic puffins go back to sea, they shed their colourful part of their beak! Would you even recognize a puffin without those bright colours? 4. Puffins can carry around 10 small fish at a time in their beak, but some have been spotted carrying so many more! 5. A group of puffins can be called a circus 🎪 or an improbability! Or simply a colony, but that’s much less fun. #explorenl #newfoundland #canada #birding
