Have you seen a wombat in the wild?
These two were spotted wandering around the Lightstation at Wilsons Prom.
If you’d like the chance to see one for yourself, head out on the Prom Wildlife Walk. This short walk takes you across open grasslands to view wildlife like kangaroos, wallabies, emus and wombats.
Ranger tips:
🌿 Please don’t tempt them closer with food as human food can harm their health.
🗺️ Head to the Visitor Information Centre at Tidal River to get insider tips on where to spot wombats and other native wildlife.
🏕️ If camping overnight, we recommend storing food in your vehicle.
🌙 When driving at night, slow down as many animals become more active during at dusk.
🦘 Protect our wildlife by giving animals their space. Be respectful of wild animals, don’t get too close or try to touch them.
🐶 For conservation reasons, please don’t bring dogs or cats into national and state parks. You can find a list of dog-friendly parks with designated on-lead areas at the link in bio.

One of the coolest attractions in Victoria!
Max and I had a chance to check out the @malahatskywalk. We had a chance to go on a beautiful walk on an elevated boardwalk through the forest. There were so many interactive activities for Max along the way before making it to the tower. Max was an amazing hiker and made it all the way to the top where we had a gorgeous lookout!
Highly recommend checking out the Skywalk when you are in Victoria
