If there’s one thing my MIL says about coming over it’s that you will NEVER leave hungry 🍅🌱🐄🥩A welcome appetizer before a farm tour then dinner with our home raised protein all prepared with our @ThermadorHome appliances that have been the heart of this kitchen since the day we moved in. This was a truly magical estate/farm tour, and probably the longest we ever went on. With it’s sprawling blooming wild gardens spread over many acres, apples and pears orchards, rows and rows of wild perennial flowers that keep changing with the seasons, a few ponds, 5 donkeys, a duck, lots of frogs and butterflies, a few abandoned green houses, and a few homes scattered around the property, including one main house covered with floral wall paper and an elevator, and a few other guest houses, what can I say, this was definitely calling for us to get it. We had a vision of even maybe moving our headquarters to there. The downside: as magical as this place was, the bones of all the homes and Barnes are very old, and before even maintaining it- just to bring it to a solid living condition would cost millions and be a massive project to deal with. But I will never forget this place. So making sure you won’t forget it either. Who is also dreaming of a rustic special farm to call home? Our visit to Heenat Salma was definitely one of our favorite experiences 😍🫶🏻 Here’s why: ☀️ The Farm Tour: Such inspiring and grounding spaces, both indoors and outdoors. Plus, you get to experience the traditional art and culture of Qatar. ☀️ Sunset & High-Tea Curation: That sunset spot definitely made us feel like we were in a movie, and the farm-to-table food was just incredible—so colorful and fresh! 🤤🍃 Also, I have to mention the impeccable presentation and service. ☀️ Dinner at the Fireplace: This will always stay close to my heart—traditional tea and dinner under the moonlight, with beautiful rugs, cozy blankets, and some live classical music. What’s not to love? ☀️ Workshops: They host a lot of fun artisanal workshops, including culinary arts, crafts, and more. We got to experience the palm-weaving workshop, where we made coasters out of palm leaves 🌴😍 ☀️ Shop: They also have a beautiful concept store that specializes in unique and timeless goods crafted by skilled artisans from Qatar and different parts of the world. You can come here for a day tour or choose to stay with them for a couple of days! They offer stunning lodging, various spa treatments, and more.
