The Bunksuite! Take me back, one night is never enough! I’ve got proper holiday blues today and am craving a fresh blueberry pancake and dip in that tub.🥰 The @theffolkes near Kings Lynn is fast becoming one of our favourite destinations, not only because of the gorgeous and ever changing menus(from local vendors) welcoming staff or the colourful and creative decor but because they’ve now introduced container golf! We were kindly asked to try out their new family/group Bunksuite room. Girls night pending 😉 How could I refuse😍 Four large wooden bunk beds with all the trimmings, rainfall shower, cosy seating area and outdoor tub. The kids were in heaven and so was I. We even had a couple of games of shuffleboard downstairs before dinner. Breakfast is an all you can eat banquet while the children safely play. Fresh pancakes omelettes in addition to your traditional English breakfast and cereal options. The courtyard tables are my favourite in the summer months but the whole restaurant is so cosy and colourful. Brunch runs weekdays until 1pm and weekends until 12pm and 11am on Sundays. It’s not to be missed. The service was as warm and friendly as with our previous visit. Kirsty especially; she’s a hoot and so great with the kids. After brekkie we took to the the new container golf area just £4 a round off-peak. Such a great idea and built with the same creativity and craftsmanship as the rest of the ffolkes buildings. Decorated with colourful graffiti it’s very instagrammable and coupled with a few cocktails would make a great night out with friends too. There’s some great Autumn deals coming up so head to their website for more details. There’s also some brand spanking new spa cabins for couples which look insane! Can I come back now please? Container Golf at @theffolkes We were lucky enough to be invited to spend the morning at The Ffolkes to try their Unlimited Brunch and Container Golf. The Ffolkes underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2017 and it is still constantly being improved including the fantastic Container Golf which was added last Summer. The Ffolkes is so well designed and unassuming from the road. Bold but simple signage gives you a great first impression of a business that knows it’s target audience. Following the sign for the car park you are transported into an incredible space with beautiful, well organised parking, abundant with Cat Mint and other bee friendly planting. The container golf was so much fun and completely undercover so the weather didn’t dampen our moods! In fact, apologies to the family a few holes behind us- we were a little noisy as we were having such a fantastic time. All in all, would HIGHLY recommend The Ffolkes. Go and check them out! Great to break up a trip to the coast 😊 ⭐️ To Do: Restaurant with outdoor play area, bar, container golf, family friendly accommodation, wedding venue etc. They also host parties, baby groups, comedy nights, the list goes on! ⭐️ SEND: Plenty of space, although I imagine it can feel busy inside at peaks times. A good sized outdoor play area with tables under cover if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle inside. Wheelchair (and pushchair) friendly! ⭐️ Cost: Container golf starts at £6 for adults and £4 for children mid-week, food reasonably priced for Norfolk, check out their website for room prices! ⭐️ Parking: On site, free all day ⭐️ Food: All you can eat brunch every day, one of the best roasts I’ve had on a Sunday (again, all you can eat 😍) different themed street food nights in the week. ⭐️ Toilets: Family toilets inside ⭐️ Dogs: Yes!! 😊 ⭐️ Age Range: All ages ⭐️ Best Suited: Something for everyone ⭐️ Time of Year: Any time, we’ve been in both rain and sunshine! ⭐️Time Spent: 2 hours 45 minutes ⭐️ Total Cost: £33 for all you can eat brunch for two including drinks, kids under 3 eat free ⭐️ Out of Ten: 9/10 based on the food and play area!
