Would you climb to the top?!?! The Mountain Fire Lookout Tower is the only remaining tower in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest that guests can climb. It dates back to the 1930’s and was restored by a community effort in the 90’s. At the top, you sway above the trees in a 7x7ft cab 100 feet up… and it can be windy.
