Blake Bonner, who lost his daughter Lila in the tragic flooding in central Texas last summer, joined me with his lawyers today to explain the latest legal action taken by the group of parents known as “Heaven’s 27.” The suit alleges that state officials within the Texas Department of State Health Services approved Camp Mystic’s license without a clear evacuation plan. Like I pledged when I left Texas last summer, I will continue covering this story and all its developments.

I’m looking forward to it with great anticipation because of what Jesus did on that Cross.” What about you? Do you have the same confidence? The most important decision any of us make in life is to accept or reject Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. That decision changes everything—and it determines where we will spend eternity! Jesus said, “…I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die…” (John 11:25-26). What a promise! If we repent of our sins and put our faith in Jesus Christ, we will be safe in the presence of God forever.
