#SBCoFD has donated a refurbished ladder truck to El Concejo Municipal de San Felipe in San Felipe, Mexico. The 2004 American LaFrance quint aerial proudly served the communities of San Bernardino County for 10 years as a front-line apparatus and 10 years as a reserve truck. It now begins its second career protecting the citizens of San Felipe. Captain Jay Dimoff has been a key figure in this effort, working alongside Tom Pitts, our Vehicle Services Supervisor, to ensure the apparatus was properly refurbished and operational for fire and EMS service. “There is no greater feeling than seeing our surplus equipment in use, serving the community in San Felipe,” said Captain Dimoff. The Fontana Police Department also contributed by donating two refurbished units. San Felipe Firefighter Juan Cortez, his team, and the San Felipe Police Department will drive the apparatus and units to Calexico, where they will be stored for a month before they receive clearance to enter Mexico and begin service. Special thanks to the Rotary Club of Fontana for hosting this event and facilitating these donations, and to the Fontana Police Department and Chief Michael Dorsey for their contributions.

Meet Taz, a type of pet with behavior that would have him banned from other grooming salons! Luckily for Taz’s parents, Dee has saved them the trouble and added expense of a sedated groom at the vet. Dee has been grooming Taz since 2022, yet Taz still bit him today. These pets are difficult to groom, take longer to complete, and may pose a threat to us and themselves, but if we can preform the service as safe as possible, they too, deserve an opportunity. If Dee can’t do it, a vet visit is imminent. Most groomers just don’t go through the trouble. Schedule a complimentary “Vibe Check” with us to see if we’re a good fit for your pet. Learn more on our site: www.sudsnbones.com We cannot promise we can do it, but we will try our best. Special handling fee applies for these cases. #fontana #doggrooming #SudsStudsNBaddies #FontanaCalifornia #fontanafood #fontanalashes #fontana #fontananails #ranchocucamonga #doggroomersofinstagram #groomerlife #doggroomer #rosenaranch #doggrooming #fontanaphotographer #fontanahair #fontanatattoo #fontanapd #fontanahairstylist #northfontana #summithighschool #etiwandafalls #etiwanda #victoriagardens #ontariomills #dogpark #petsmart #petco #mobilegrooming #mobilepetgrooming #fontanagroomer

Deshedding a double coated dog takes a lot of effort and when you go far in between grooming they pose a bigger threat to groomers respiratory system. The dander and hair buildup aggregates allergies whether the groomer has allergen sensitivities or not. In our salon, we encourage our groomer to put their health first and wear proper PPE. Deshedding baths should be scheduled every 4 weeks and range from $80-$150+ www.sudsnbones.com #SudsStudsNBaddies #FontanaCalifornia #fontanafood #fontanalashes #fontana #fontananails #ranchocucamonga #doggroomersofinstagram #groomerlife #doggroomer #rosenaranch #doggrooming #fontanaphotographer #fontanahair #fontanatattoo #fontanapd #fontanahairstylist #northfontana #summithighschool #etiwandafalls #etiwanda #victoriagardens #ontariomills #dogpark #petsmart #petco #mobilegrooming #mobilepetgrooming

The residents of Fontana will not stand for crimes that target our neighborhoods. Mail theft is a serious offense that impacts victims financially and personally. It takes the help of our community to stop these crimes, and we appreciate residents who report suspicious activity. On Christmas Eve, Fontana Police officers were dispatched to a neighborhood near Randall Avenue and Mango Avenue regarding two subjects stealing mail from residential mailboxes. A reporting party provided a description of the suspects’ vehicle, which officers quickly located fleeing the area. Officers conducted a traffic stop and detained the two occupants, identified as Elizabeth Valenzuela, age 35, and Shala Green, age 39. Both individuals matched the suspect descriptions. A search of the vehicle revealed stolen mail and property, identification cards, bank credit and debit cards, methamphetamine, and narcotic paraphernalia. Further investigation revealed that both suspects are from Victorville and have no ties to the City of Fontana. Shala Green was also found to have an active arrest warrant and was driving without a valid license. The vehicle was towed, and both suspects were arrested. Santa came early for these two; they were permanently put on Santa’s naughty list. At this time, officers believe there may be more than 40 victims connected to this incident. Patrol officers are actively notifying those affected. If you believe you may have been a victim of mail theft, please contact the Fontana Police Department and file a report. Working together, we can protect our community and hold criminals accountable. #fontanapd #community #seesomethingsaysomething @city_of_fontana_ca @fontanapd
