FOOD IS SYMBOLIC OF LOVE when words are inadequate OR in our case everyone knows you don't know how to cook! 🤷🏻‍♀️🤣 Thank you @kennethmoton & @mhajones1906 for bringing a true taste of the South to my home and feeding my entire brood. Brunch was AMAZING! Nothing beats homemade, slow cooked grits! 🧇🥓😍 I think @robertellis2001 said it best as he blessed our table and thanked the good Lord for the ability to gather with friends in fun and fellowship. A day off from the count down today, instead today's post, celebrates other incredible culinary talent in the one and only Puerto Banús. The Gastronomia Internacional gala, which I was lucky enough to attend. Breathtaking views, amazing friends, and, of course, great entertainment and delicious food from around the world. “There is no better friend than a good meal and no better meal than one shared with friends.” Today , my team and I joined @foodandfriendsdc to pack bags of nutritious foods for our neighbors with life -challenging illnesses like cancer and HIV/Aids. The best thing is that these healthy groceries are free of charge , medically tailored and delivered to neighbors all across the DC Metropolitan area. I’m grateful for community organizations like this that help support those in need with care and compassion. Please consider volunteering with them and sharing this information with anyone you know. We filled about 400 bags and that alone fills my heart with joy. #foodandfriends #foodanfriendsdc #dccouncil #community
