Flashback Friday! A special moment from last week as Mobile School Pantry accepted the @cscbroward Collective Impact for Youth Award at the @211broward 15th Annual Community Care Plan Non-Profit Awards.
In this video, our founder Z shares a few words while accepting the award on behalf of the entire MSP community.
This recognition reflects the collective effort behind our mission. The volunteers who show up week after week, the partners who believe in this work, our committed board, and our small but mighty team working tirelessly behind the scenes.
Moments like this remind us how powerful community can be when people come together with a shared purpose to ensure children and families have access to healthy food with dignity and choice. 🍎
We were honored to have students from @community_academy_of_phila join us today!!! They wanted to share their experiences with you!!

The National Honor Society (NHS) is one of the most prestigious student organizations in high schools in the United States. She recognizes students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, community service and character, helping to train students prepared for university and for life.
Our first volunteer project as members of the National Honor Society was an impactful and meaningful experience. As a group, we participated in a service activity focused on helping people who struggle with food insecurity by preparing meal packages that can be distributed to communities in need.
During the project, we worked together at different stations where each person had a specific role. Some pour the ingredients into bags, others helped students measure ingredients such as rice and vegetable protein, and another group sealed and organized the finished meal packages. We wore hairnets and followed careful procedures to ensure that the food was prepared safely and efficiently.
Each package we assembled contained a mixture of rice, vegetables, and protein, designed to provide a nutritious and balanced meal. Seeing the ingredients come together and the table gradually fill with completed packages was a powerful reminder of how teamwork and small individual efforts can create a meaningful impact.
This experience reflected the core values of the National Honor Society: service, leadership, and character. By working together and dedicating our time to helping others, we were able to contribute to a cause that goes beyond our school and reaches people who truly need support.
Our first volunteer project showed us that service is not only about giving time, but also about working with purpose and compassion. It was a great beginning to our journey as members of the National Honor Society, and it inspired us to continue making a positive difference in our community and beyond.
A $50,000 Community Impact Grant has been awarded to @tasksoupkitchen to expand meal distribution in Trenton’s two designated Food Desert Communities.
The funding will support new Community Meal Sites and expanded food truck stops and hours, increasing access to nutritious meals for neighbors across the city.
This grant is made in memory of John D. “Jack” Wallace, a founding member of our Board and Trustee Emeritus, whose commitment to the community continues to have a lasting impact.

We had a great service day this past President’s Day as 14 youth and adults of the church volunteered at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank! They packed 30 lb boxes of donated foods from food drives to be distributed to local food pantries around Pittsburgh. Every little bit and part of the process helps!
Help support our food drive this week that will benefit FeedMore WNY and Petey’s Pantry! Donate what you can! To learn more about food insecurity in our community, attend the Dismantling Food Insecurity and Restoring Food Access event held in the Library Learning Center Thursday from 4-5:30.
The classroom looked a little different today👀 V40 & V41 students from P53K@562 spent the day taste testing potential school menu items @nycps.ofns They rated the foods, shared their opinions, and described what they liked (and didn’t like!)🧑🍳👩🍳#p53k #district75 #nycps #learninginaction #studentvoice #gocougars
