Everybody had an opinion about what I should’ve done. What I should’ve said. How I should’ve snapped back. How loud they would’ve gotten. How disrespectful. How petty. And I get it — the internet loves a reaction. But little do they know… I already gave my response. It just didn’t happen in the parking lot. After all that energy, after the looks, after the assumptions, after the quiet decision that we didn’t belong there… I left. No argument. No explanation. No “do you know who I am?” I got on a call. Closed a $20K AI automation deal. Hung up. Turned the key. And drove through the city in my Aston Martin revving the engine with Lil Uzi playing like punctuation. Because sometimes the flex isn’t saying anything at all. It’s continuing your life exactly as planned. They tried to kick us out for being young, Black, and successful… so we balled harder. Not in a forced way. Not in a loud way. In a this-is-normal way. The funny part is, none of this was even about proving a point. It was about momentum. About choosing forward motion over friction. About understanding that the loudest response is letting your life keep upgrading without permission. Somewhere out there, the guy who questioned us is probably still doing his job. Clocking in. Clocking out. Telling himself a story about what he saw that day. And honestly? I hope he’s doing well. JK. This one’s for everyone who wanted a clapback. This was the clapback. #themalikmonologues
