In this video I explain how my Facebook page and Business Suite were hacked since August 2023 probably due to phishing and how I recovered them recently after a long struggle and thousands of emails sent to Meta. It is all fixed and safe now, I will be publishing again. It can really happen to anybody and it seems it is becoming more and more frequent unfortunately. I got fooled (although I am very cautious) by a hacker pretending to be working for Fresh & Fit company (but hackers do that with many different famous brands) and inviting me to participate in their online event. The emails they used were [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]. So if you ever see them, mark them as spam and report them. So they invited me to a live event on Facebook (titled "Fresh and Fit") and requested that I activated from my end the "Paid Online Events" option on Facebook (an option on Facebook Business Suite) to access the live event from my Facebook page. And from that moment, I lost control of my Business page, the hacker made unauthorized paid ads for other pages and the nightmare started... I didn't add any other user in my account or shared any password so I still don't get exactly how these evil minded people managed to do this. To me it looks like a security breach in Meta Business Suite? Anyway thanks to Meta team for helping me fixing this.
