هو مسلسل رعب وغموض يدور حول بلدة غريبة ومعزولة لا يستطيع أي شخص يدخلها أن يغادرها مرة أخرى. تبدأ القصة عندما تصل عائلة في رحلة سفر إلى هذه البلدة، لكنهم يكتشفون بسرعة أن الطرق تؤدي دائماً إلى نفس المكان مهما حاولوا الخروج. سكان البلدة عالقون هناك منذ سنوات ويحاولون فهم سبب وجودهم في مذا المكان الغامض وكيف يمكن الهروب منه. المشكلة الأكبر ليست فقط أنهم محاصرون، بل أن الليل يجلب مخلوقات مرعبة تشبه البشر لكنها قاتلة وتخرج للصيد، لذلك يضطر السكان إلى الاختباء داخل البيوت واستخدام تعاويذ أو رموز غريبة على الأبواب والنوافذ لحماية أنفسهم. مع مرور الأحداث يبدأ بعض الأشخاص بمحاولة كشف سر البلدة والغابة المحيطة بها، ويجدون دلائل وأسراراً تشير إلى أن المكان قد يكون جزءاً من شيء أكبر وأكثر غموضاً. المسلسل عتمد على أجواء التوتر والأسئلة الكثيرة حول سبب وجود البلدة ومن صنع هذه القواعد الغريبة، وكل موسم يكشف جزءاً صغيراً من اللغز
بينما تظهر ألغاز جديدة تجعل القصة أكثر تعقيداً
